Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: NMDC Energy, a subsidiary of National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC), has won a contract by ADNOC for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the lower-carbon Ruwais LNG project.
ADNOC awarded the contract to NMDC Energy, along with international partners, according to a press release.
Located in Al Ruwais Industrial City in Abu Dhabi the LNG project has a total value of $5.50 billion.
NMDC Energy’s share in the project amounts to 20%.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 57 months.
NMDC posted a consolidated net profit of AED 641.06 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, a leap from AED 303.32 million in the same period a year earlier.
