Mubasher: A.M. Best has reaffirmed Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance’s (QGRI) financial strength rating (FSR) at “A-“(excellent), the company said.
The US rating agency also maintained QGRI’s long-term issuer credit rating at “a-” with a stable outlook, according to the firm’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Sunday.
These ratings reflect QGIR’s strong balance sheet, robust operating performance and appropriate enterprise risk management
During the first nine months of 2018, QGIR’s profits hiked 100.6% to QAR 70.76 million, against QAR 35.28 million in the year-ago period.
