Cairo – Mubasher: Asec Company for Mining (ASCOM) shifted to consolidated net profits of EGP 136.48 million during the first nine months (9M) of 2022, against net losses of EGP 38.20 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
The company’s revenues increased to EGP 998.53 million in January-September 2022, compared to EGP 686.99 million in January-September 2021, according to a bourse disclosure.
Basic earnings per share (EPS) stood at EGP 2.50 during 9M-22, compared to a loss per share of EGP 0.60 in 9M-21.
As for the standalone business, the company shifted to net losses of EGP 46.82 million during the January-September 2022 period, versus profits of EGP 4.43 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
In the first half (H1) of 2022, ASCOM turned to consolidated net profits of EGP 67.98 million, versus net losses of EGP 36.25 million in H1-21, including minority shareholders’ rights.
