Cairo – Mubasher: Air Arabia Egypt, a subsidiary of Air Arabia, commenced its first non-stop flight from Cairo International Airport to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Istanbul.
The newly added route will link both cities with a frequency of three weekly flights, according to a press release.
It will provide travellers with convenient and affordable options to explore Istanbul. Customers can also enjoy a variety of delicacies between snacks, meals, and sandwiches.
The airline operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, which is considered to be the best-selling single-aisle aircraft in the world.
DFM-listed Air Arabia logged 27% higher net profits at AED 1.50 billion as of 31 December 2023, compared to AED 1.20 billion in 2022.
Revenues hiked by 14% to AED 6 billion last year from AED 5.20 billion in 2022.
