Mubasher: Al Baraka Bank Sudan, a subsidiary banking unit of Al Baraka Banking Group B.S.C. (ABG), on Tuesday reported a 176% surge in profits for the first half of 2016.
The bank's profits reached SDG 64 million ($10.46 million) in the first six months of 2016 after deducting provisions and taxes.
Total revenues grew 57% to SDG 144 million, according to a bourse filing.
Net operating income hiked 146% to SDG 79 million in H1-16.
Total bank's assets reached SDG 2.4 billion by the end of June, rising 7% compared to December.
