Al Khaleej Investment net profit plunges in Q1

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Al Khaleej Investment Company’s net profit dropped about 99% in the first quarter of 2018.

The Abu Dhabi-listed company’s net profit registered AED 83,500 in Q1-18 versus AED 6.73 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released. 

Al Khaleej’s rental revenue declined to AED 6.6 million in the three-month period ended 31 March, compared to AED 6.8 million in the corresponding period of 2017.

Other income recorded AED 96,303 from January to March, while earnings per share (EPS) hit AED 0.001 in the same period.
