Al Khaleej Investment sees 67% rise in net profits in 9M

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Al Khaleej Investment on Thursday disclosed its financial results for the first nine months of 2017, which showed a 67% year-on-year growth in net profits.

The company’s net profit in the first three quarters of 2017 increased to AED 25.9 million ($7 million) from AED 15.5 million ($4.2 million) in the year-ago period, according to a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).  

Investment revenues reached AED 13 million, while real estate revenues amounted to AED 21.8 million in the period from January to September 2017, the company revealed.

Earnings per share (EPS) hit AED 0.25 in the first nine months of 2017 against AED 0.15 in the year-ago period.

Al Khaleej Investment stated that shareholder’s equity grew to AED 336 million in the first three quarters of 2017 from AED 311 million in the comparative period of 2016.
