Riyadh – Mubasher: United Wire Factories Company (Aslak) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax worth SAR 30.2 million during the first half (H1) of 2021, higher by 10.6% than SAR 27.3 million in H1-20.
Earnings per share amounted to SAR 0.86 in H1-21, compared with SAR 0.62 in H1-20, according to the initial income statements on Sunday.
Sales increased annually by 7% to SAR 444.3 million in the first six months of 2021 from SAR 414.7 million in the same period a year ago.
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Aslak achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 14.1 million, higher by 15.5% than SAR 12.2 million in Q2-20.
Sales also increased by 12% to SAR 217.7 million in Q2-21 from SAR 194.3 million in Q2-20.
On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were lower by 12.4% than SAR 16.1 million in Q1-21, while the sales were 3.9% lower than SAR 226.6 million.
