Mubasher: Barwa Real Estate posted an 8% year-on-year increase in its operating revenues during the first six months of 2018, while net profits
(attributable to shareholders) fell 12%.
Barwa logged a net profit of QAR 804 million during the period between January and June, compared to QAR 912 million in H1-17, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 2.07 in H1-18, down from QAR 2.34 during the corresponding period a year ago.
The Qatari real estate developer's operating revenues levelled up 8% in the January - June period of this year, compared to the year-ago period after rentals jumped QAR 51 million.
