Cairo – Mubasher: Delta Sugar recorded a 121% year-on-year (YoY) leap in net profit after tax to EGP 850.40 million in 2022, compared to EGP 385.01 million.
Revenues increased by 16% to EGP 3.76 billion last year from EGP 3.24 billion in 2021, according to the income statements.
Meanwhile, the basic earnings per share (EPS) stood at EGP 4.87 as of 31 December 2022, an annual hike of 576% from EGP 0.72.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the EGX-listed firm achieved net profits after tax worth EGP 735.21 million, higher by 79% YoY than EGP 411.63 million.
The basic EPS enlarged by 78% to EGP 4.21 in 9M-22 from 2.36 in 9M-21, whereas the revenues jumped by 24% to EGP 3.08 billion from EGP 2.49 billion.
