Mubasher: Aamal Company (Aamal) on Monday announced that Doha Cables, a fully-owned subsidiary of Senyar Industries Qatar Holding in which Aamal owns a 50% stake, has been awarded a QAR 1.24 billion contract by Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
The contract entailed supplying Kahramaa with low- and medium-voltage cables of 11 kilovolts, in addition to pilot power cables, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
The contract’s duration started from 30 January 2018 until 29 January 2020.
The financial impact of the contract will be reflected in Doha Cables’ financial results of the first quarter of 2018, the statement showed.
