Dubai – Mubasher: The net profits of Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) reduced to AED 55.073 million in 2020 from AED 58.085 million in the previous year.
The company's net earned premiums reached AED 117.717 million in 2020, down from AED 120.235 million in 2019, according to the company's financial results for 2020.
The insurer's net underwriting income decreased to AED 53.59 million last year from AED 55.433 million in 2019.
The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.48 in 2020, against AED 0.50 in 2019.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, the company's net profits decreased to AED 10.76 million from AED 11.4 million in the corresponding period of 2019.
