EGX closes Sunday in red zone

Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday lower by 0.54% at 11,978.56 points.

The EGX50 EWI went down by 0.68% to 2,153.36 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.40% to 2,307.44 points.

EGX100 EWI closed also down by 0.49% to 3,369.16 points.

EGX’s trading value amounted to EGP 484.33 million through the exchange of 188.46 million shares. The market cap value amounted to EGP 772.40 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 614,315 and EGP 11.97 million, respectively, while Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 12.59 million.
