Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday higher by 0.51% at 12,043.42 points.
The EGX50 EWI went up by 0.69% to 2,168.12 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI added 0.67% to 2,316.66 points.
EGX100 EWI also rose by 0.71% to 3,385.91 points.
EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 1.16 billion through the exchange of 371.68 million shares. The market cap value amounted to EGP 776.85 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 60.64 million and EGP 10.11 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 70.75 million.
