Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session with a mixed note, as the EGX30 main index fell by 0.14% to 16,803.89 points.
The EGX50 EWI also declined by 0.30% to 2,912.32 points.
On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed higher by 0.19% at 3,067.23 points and by 0.01% at 4,534.84 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.92 billion after 586.01 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 1.08 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 192.38 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 71 million and EGP 121.38 million, respectively.
