Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday's trading session on a mixed note with the main EGX30 index advancing by 1.05% to end at 10,995 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.41% to 2,636 points, while the EGX100 EWI declined by 0.16% to 3,593 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI edged up by 0.01%% to end at 2,276 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 3.19 billion to close at EGP 711.620 billion.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 99.64 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 87.14 million and EGP 12.5 million, respectively.
The market's turnover amounted to EGP 1.08 billion after 356.2 million shares were exchanged through nearly 34,780 transactions.
