Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday's trading session on a varied note with the main EGX30 index rising alone by 0.9% to end at 10,881 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI slid by 1.21% to 2,647 points, while the EGX100 EWI fell by 0.88% to 3,598 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI declined by 0.86% to end at 2,276 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 1.2 billion to close at EGP 708.425 billion.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 126.812 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 98 million and EGP 28.81 million, respectively.
The market's turnover amounted to EGP 1.12 billion after 333.04 million shares were exchanged through nearly 37,400 transactions.
