Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits after tax of Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) amounted to EGP 616.83 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2024.
The recorded net profits were higher by 77.54% than EGP 347.43 million in 9M-23, according to the financial results.
EMPC posted revenues valued at EGP 760.83 million as of 30 September 2024, up 19.32% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 637.61 million.
The basic earnings per share (EPS) grew to EGP 2.90 in 9M-24 from EGP 1.64 in the year-ago period.
Standalone Results
In the January-September 2024 period, the EGX-listed company logged non-consolidated net profit after tax worth EGP 443.89 million, marking an annual leap of 73.60% from EGP 255.69 million.
Basic EPS climbed to EGP 2.11 in 9M-24 from EGP 1.21 a year earlier, while the revenues increased by 9.90% to EGP 590.95 million from EGP 537.73 million.
As of 30 June 2024, the company’s consolidated net profits after tax hit EGP 473.59 million, while the standalone net profit after tax stood at EGP 357.83 million.
