Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) reported a 98.24% year-on-year (YoY) surge in consolidated net profit after tax to EGP 272.04 million in 2022, compared to EGP 137.22 million.
Revenues amounted to EGP 666.50 million last year, up 26.70% from EGP 526.06 million in 2021, according to the income statements.
The basic earnings per share (EPS) hiked by 98.24% to EGP 1.29 in the January-December 2022 period, versus EGP 0.65 a year earlier.
Standalone Financial Results
EMPC registered standalone net profits after tax worth EGP 237.26 million as of 31 December 2022, an annual jump of 72.36% from EGP 137.65 million.
Non-consolidated revenues increased by 19.13% YoY to EGP 612.77 million in 2022 from EGP 514.37 million, whereas the basic EPS enlarged by 72.36% YoY to EGP 1.12 from EGP 0.65.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the EGX-listed firm logged consolidated net profits worth EGP 158.49 million, higher by 66.27% YoY than EGP 95.32 million.
