Cairo – Mubasher: East Delta Flour Mills reported a 9.1% year-on-year profit increase during fiscal year 2018/2019, according to the company's unaudited financial results.
Net profits grew to EGP 144.97 million in the 12-month period ended 30 June from EGP 132.86 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
Year-on-year, revenues retreated to EGP 548.5 million from July 2018 to last June, compared to EGP 730.12 million in FY17/18.
During the first nine months of FY18/19, East Delta Mills’ net profit after taxes reached EGP 97.64 million, compared to EGP 89.66 million in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, revenues slid by 33.97% year-on-year to EGP 383.31 million in the nine-month period ended 31 March from EGP 580.47 million.
