Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt Kuwait Holding (EKH) reported net profits of $109.29 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, up by 36% year-on-year (YoY) from $80.24 million.
The company's revenues surged to $349.3 million in the January-June period, compared to $290.28 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.
As for standalone business, the company logged net profits of $29.5 million in H1-21, up from $3.48 million in H1-20.
During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Egypt Kuwait Holding posted consolidated net profits of $53.01 million, up from $40.72 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders’ rights.
