Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated financial statements of El Kahera Housing showed net profits of EGP 106.25 million during the first half (H1) of 2020, up by 32.6% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 80.13 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.
On the other hand, the company’s revenues slid to EGP 583.9 million in the January-June period, compared to EGP 612.7 million in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the cost of revenues retreated to EGP 431.4 million in H1-20 from EGP 439.3 million in H1-19.
As for standalone business, the company logged net losses of EGP 64.07 million in the six-month period, against net profits of EGP 2.41 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
During the first three months of 2020, El Kahera Housing reported net profits of EGP 60.32 million, down from EGP 103.17 million in the prior-year period.
