Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates NBD has expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia by inaugurating its first branch in Khobar city.
The bank will offer digital banking solutions, strong franchise, retail, private, business, wholesale, cooperate finance advisory, project, and syndicated finance services.
The Dubai-based lender is currently operating in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Khobar, according to a statement.
The new branch is expected to boost economic relations between the two nations, as well as help in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, especially in the potential economic reforms.
“Saudi is in the midst of a landmark economic transformation and we look forward to continuing to support Saudi individuals and businesses looking for a trusted banking partner,” Emirates NBD vice chairman and managing director Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim said.
During the previous period, the UAE-based bank renewed its deal with the Kingdom’s Kafalah Programme.
Kafalah Programme aims to increase financing to the Saudi Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
“Emirates NBD’s superior value proposition, built on the bank’s unique ‘high tech + high touch’ philosophy of offering customers a modern banking experience complemented by personalised advisory services,” Emirates NBD CEO in Saudi Loai Abduljawad concluded.
