Mubasher: Equipment Holding posted a decline of 1.2% in its losses during the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Losses shrank to about KWD 835,540 ($2.76 million) in Q2-17 from nearly KWD 845,510 ($2.8 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Monday.
During the first six months of 2017, losses decreased by 4.8% to KWD 1.19 million from KWD 1.25 million in the same half a year ago.
The losses resulted from higher finance costs, the statement added.
In the first quarter this year, the company’s losses decreased by 12.4% to around KWD 354,460 from approximately KWD 404,490 in Q1-16.
