Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Finance House reported a 7.4% year-on-year increase in its net profits during the first half of 2019, according to the company’s consolidated interim financial statements.
The company’s net profits rose to AED 21.87 million in the six-month period ended 30 June, compared to AED 20.36 million in the prior-year period, the company said in a statement to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
Year-on-year, net operating income declined to AED 131.892 million in the January-June period of 2019 from AED 133.110 million.
Meanwhile, profits attributable to equity holders amounted to AED 17.573 million in H1-19 from AED 16.643 million in H1-18.
During the first quarter of 2019, Finance House’s profits fell by 33% to AED 12.6 million from AED 18.8 million in Q1-18.
