Invesco lowers stake in CIB for EGP 141m

Cairo – Mubasher: Invesco has decreased its stake in the Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) to 4.98% from 5.12%.

The company has sold 2.74 million shares in CIB in exchange for EGP 141.19 million or EGP 51.4 per share, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

It is noteworthy to mention that in the first nine months (9M) of 2021, CIB reported consolidated net profits of EGP 9.87 billion, up by 34.5% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 7.34 billion, including minority shareholders' rights.
