Cairo – Mubasher: El Nasr Clothing and Textiles (KABO) reported a 13.5% year-on-year increase in its non-consolidated profits during the first nine months of fiscal year 2018/2019.
KABO’s net profits amounted to EGP 26.12 million from July 2018 to last March, compared to EGP 23 million in the same period a year earlier, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
Year-on-year, net sales rose to EGP 275.45 million in the nine-month period ended 31 March from EGP 248.66 million.
During the period from July to December, the company reported net losses of EGP 25.3 million, versus profits of EGP 11.9 million in the same period a year earlier.
As for standalone business, the company’s profits rose by 14.9% year-on-year, logging EGP 18.5 million in H1 of FY 18/19 from EGP 16.1 million.
