Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited financial results of Kahira Pharmaceuticals showed a 27.7% year-on-year (YoY) profit growth during the first nine months of fiscal year 2019/2020.
The company’s net profits rose to EGP 92.22 million in the nine-month period ended on 31 March, compared to EGP 72.22 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
Sales increased to EGP 773.32 million from July 2019 until the end of last March, compared to EGP 735.83 million in the corresponding period of FY18/29.
The rise in profits was ascribed to higher local sales of pharmaceuticals.
It is noteworthy to mention that in the first half of FY19/20, the company’s net profits went up to EGP 56.77 million from EGP 43.9 million in the year-ago period.
