Cairo - Mubasher: MB for Engineering and Contracting on Tuesday announced achieving a 42.9% surge in its year-on-year profits during the first half of 2017.
The company achieved EGP 7.16 million in profits during H1-17 as compared to EGP 5.017 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights, according to a filing to Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
On the other hand, the company’s standalone profits fell to EGP 20,400 in the first six months of 2017 from EGP 4.03 million in the year-ago period.
MB Engineering previously logged consolidated profits of EGP 3.85 million in Q1-17 compared to EGP 890,300 in the prior year period.
