Doha – Mubasher: Medicare Group’s profits retreated 26.5% in the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter in 2016.
Profits amounted to QAR 17.87 million ($4.9 million) in Q1-17, compared to QAR 14.13 million ($3.88 million) in Q1-16, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Earnings per share (EPS) reached QAR 0.64 in Q1-17, compared to QAR 0.5 in the corresponding period in the year earlier.
Medicare had previously reported a drop of 64% in its profits reaching QAR 65.15 million in 2016, compared to QAR 180.37 million in 2015.
