Cairo – Mubasher: Middle East Glass Manufacturing Co logged consolidated net profits of EGP 164.21 million in the first nine months of 2021, a leap of 1,172% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 12.9 million, including minority shareholders' rights.
The sales increased to EGP 1.37 billion in the January-September period of 2021, compared to EGP 1.18 billion in the year-ago period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Monday.
As for standalone business, the company turned to net profits of EGP 50.89 million in the nine-month period ended 30 September, versus net losses of EGP 2.4 million in the same period in 2020.
In the first half (H1) of 2021, the company reported a 498% YoY surge in its consolidated net profits, logging EGP 114.14 million, compared to EGP 19.08 million in H1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.
