Cairo – Mubasher: Middle East Glass Manufacturing Co reported a 498% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profits to EGP 114.14 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to EGP 19.08 million, including minority shareholders' rights.
The sales increased to EGP 912.92 million in the six-month period ended 30 June from EGP 791.28 million in the prior-year period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
As for standalone results, the company achieved net profits of EGP 29.91 million in H1-21, up from EGP 1.3 million in H1-20.
In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Middle East Glass Manufacturing Co posted consolidated net profits of EGP 69.15 million, up from EGP 31.07 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders’ rights.
