Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Beni Suef Cement’s net profit declined to EGP 41.52 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024 from EGP 61.36 million in the equivalent period the year before.
Net sales leapt to EGP 666.59 million in Q1-24 from EGP 276.32 million in Q1-23, according to the interim financial results.
The company recorded earnings per share (EPS) of EGP 0.61 in the three-month period that ended on 31 March 2024, compared to a loss per share of EGP 2.15 in the corresponding period a year earlier.
In 2023, Misr Beni Suef Cement turned to a net profit of EGP 369.10 million, versus a net loss of EGP 145.94 million a year earlier.
