Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Fertilizers Production Company (Mopco) posted standalone net profits after tax worth EGP 3.83 billion in 2022, higher by 148% year-on-year (YoY) than EGP 1.54 billion.
The sales reached EGP 6.99 billion in the January-December 2022 period, an annual hike of 106% from EGP 3.39 billion, according to the separate income statements.
Basic earnings per share (EPS) jumped by 148% to EGP 16.74 last year from EGP 6.76 in 2021.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, Mopco generated EGP 3.65 billion in standalone profit, a 259% YoY leap from EGP 1.03 billion.
The company’s sales widened to EGP 4.72 billion in 9M-22 from EGP 2.29 billion in 9M-21, whereas the basic EPS enlarged to EGP 15.95 from EGP 4.52.
