Mubasher: Muscat Thread Mills Company reported on Wednesday a growth of 100.33% in its profits for the second quarter of fiscal 2016.
Net profit reached OMR 33,000 ($85,426) in Q2-16, versus OMR 16,450 ($42,582) in Q2-15, according to a bourse statement.
In the first half of 2016, net profit came to OMR 26,456 million, compared to OMR 51,161 million in the same period of 2015.
Total revenues grew by 13.7% in H1-16 to OMR 1.23 million from OMR 1.40 million in H1-15.
The company earlier posted net losses of OMR 6,419 in Q1-16, against a net profit of OMR 34,706 million in Q1-15.
