Mubasher: National Biscuit Industries company’s profits for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016 declined by 30.5% to OMR 69,820 ($180,680), compared to OMR 100,390 ($259,780) for Q3-15.
However, net profit rose in the first nine months of 2016 by 5.3% to OMR 458,670 from OMR 435,420 for the same period in 2015, according to a bourse filing released on Sunday.
Sales revenues shrank 2% in the nine-month period to OMR 7.97 million, versus OMR 8.13 million by the end of September 2015.
The company earlier posted a net profit of OMR 388,850 for H1-16, compared to OMR 335,030 for H1-15.
