Mubasher: National Consumer Holding, listed on Boursa Kuwait, has posted a 79.2% year-on-year decline in profits for the second quarter of 2019.
Profits for Q2-19 stood at KWD 20,680 ($68,040), versus KWD 99,580 ($327,670) during the quarter in 2018, according to a bourse filing.
In the first half of 2019, the company has logged KWD 22,000 in profits, down 14.6% from KWD 25,770 in H1-18.
The company has attributed the decrease in profits to lower revenue from investments.
It is worth noting that National Consumer Holding had turned to profits with KWD 1,320 for Q1-19, against losses of nearly KWD 73,810 in Q1-18.
