Cairo - Mubasher: Nile Co. for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries (Nile Pharma) posted net profits of EGP 66.42 million in fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, a 28.9% drop from EGP 93.38 million a year earlier, the unaudited financial results showed.
Nile Pharma generated EGP 763.03 million in revenue in the year ended 30 June, down from EGP 812.54 million in FY19/20, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
The company's planned budget for FY21/22 showed a targeted pre-tax profit of EGP 116 million and overall revenues of EGP 885.5 million.
During the first nine months of FY20/21, the company reported net profits of EGP 60.35 million, down from EGP 67.18 million in the prior-year period.
The revenues declined to EGP 621.1 million in the nine-month period ended 31 March, compared to EGP 671.99 million in the same period a year earlier.
