Northern Region Cement logs SAR 48m in H1-22 profits

Riyadh – Mubasher: Northern Region Cement Company registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 48.09 million in the first half (H1) of 2022, a yearly drop of 9.09% from SAR 52.90 million. 

Revenues also decreased by 13.19% in H1-22 to SAR 266.68 million, compared to SAR 307.19 million in the year-ago period, according to the interim financial results.

Additionally, earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.27 in the first six months (6M) of 2022, down from SAR 0.29 during the same period a year earlier.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the Saudi firm generated net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 24.74 million, a 17.60% year-on-year (YoY) growth from SAR 21.04 million.

The Q2-22 revenues fell by 8.19% YoY to SAR 133.42 million from SAR 145.32 million.

During the January-March 2022 period, Northern Region Cement’s net profits decreased by 26.72% to SAR 23.34 million, compared to SAR 31.86 million in Q1-21.
