Cairo – Mubasher: Orascom Financial Holding (OFH) turned to a consolidated net loss of EGP 22.81 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, versus a net profit of EGP 19.81 million in the equivalent quarter the year before.
Revenues soared to EGP 2.25 million in Q1-24 from EGP 917,000 in Q1-23, according to the interim financial results.
OFH reported a loss per share of EGP 0.0047 in the three-month period that ended on 31 March 2024, compared to earnings per share (EPS) of EGP 0.0050 in the corresponding the year before.
In 2023, the company shifted to a consolidated net profitability of EGP 20.45 million, compared to a net loss of EGP 133.39 million a year earlier.
