Mubasher: Oman Cement’s initial unaudited financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016 showed a rise of 82.3% in the company’s profit to OMR 2.88 million ($7.46 million), versus OMR 1.58 million ($4.08 million) for Q3-15.
Net profit after tax reached OMR 9.68 million in the first nine months of the year, 38.78% up from OMR 6.98 million for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing released on Monday.
Total sales increased in the January-September period by 12.18% to OMR 42.3 million, compared to OMR 37.71 million a year ago.
The company earlier posted a net profit of OMR 6.8 million for the first half of 2016, versus OMR 5.4 million for H1-15.
