Cairo – Mubasher: Palm Hills Developments placed one its Cairo-based hotel properties under the supervision of the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
A total of 71 positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have already been quarantined at the hotel, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.
According to a cabinet statement on Sunday, all costs related to the stay of patients and medical staff at the 200-room hotel will be covered by Palm Hills.
The company will provide a financial aid of EGP 5 million to the health ministry to support its efforts against the COVID-19 and will cover the needs of 10,000 families of the irregular workers who were hardly hit by the pandemic with EGP 2.5 million.
