Prime Holding's loss more than doubles in 2020

Cairo – Mubasher: Prime Holding recorded consolidated net losses of EGP 24.5 million in 2020, up by 110.7% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 11.63 million, excluding minority shareholders’ rights.

The company's net profits attributable to minority interest increased to EGP 249,179 last year from EGP 125,013 a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Monday.

Revenues levelled up to EGP 78.77 million in 2020, compared to EGP 61.64 million in 2019.

As for standalone business, Prime Holding suffered net losses of EGP 8.35 million last year, down from EGP 9.99 million in 2019.

During the first nine months of 2020, the company incurred net losses of EGP 17.08 million, against net profits of EGP 4.29 million in the same period in 2019.
