Mubasher: Trading on the shares of Qatar Aluminums Manufacturing Company (QAMCO) has started on Sunday 16 December, raising listed companies on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) to 46 firms.
QAMCO was listed on the industrial sector with a symbol QAMC.
During its first trading session, QAMCO’s stock acquired up to 88% or QAR 71.1 million of the bourse’s liquidity, which amounted to QAR 81.6 million.
The stock hiked 41% to QAR 14.11 from QAR 10.
The company’s authorised and issued capital amounts to QAR 5.6 billion which 100% is paid up.
Last week, the QSE announced that trading on QAMCO’s stock would start on Sunday with the approval of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA).
