Mubasher: Qatar First Bank (QFB) reported a 13.9% year-on-year increase in losses for the third quarter of 2018.
Net losses amounted to QAR 71.67 million in Q3-18, compared to QAR 62.93 million in Q3-17, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) late on Monday.
For the first nine months of 2018, losses of the Qatari lender hiked 204.8% to QAR 425.54 million, from QAR 139.6 million in the same period of the prior year.
Losses per share (LPS) recorded QAR 2.13 for the nine-month period ended September, versus QAR 0.70 for the same period the year before.
It is worth mentioning that QFB incurred a net loss of QAR 353.9 million during the first half of 2018.
