Mubasher: Qatar Oman Investment Co achieved profits worth QAR 680,000 ($186,600) in the fourth quarter of 2016 against a loss of QAR 1.23 million ($337,000) in the same quarter of 2015.
During the fiscal year of 2016, profits fell by 27.1% to total QAR 13.37 million from QAR 18.34 million in FY15, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
The board members recommended a cash dividend of 5% or QAR 50 per share.
On the stock level, Qatar Oman Investment fell by 6.77% to reach QAR 9.5 by 10:11am Doha time on Thursday.
