Mubasher: Qatar Oman Investment on Tuesday announced that its shareholders have approved distributing a cash dividend of 3% of the share’s nominal value, or QAR 0.30 per share, with a total value of QAR 9.45 million, for 2018 during an ordinary general meeting (OGM).
The Qatari firm’s capital reaches QAR 315 million, distributed over 31.5 million shares, with a nominal value of QAR 10 per share.
Qatar Oman Investment’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) approved the split of the share’s nominal value to QAR 1, from QAR 10, according to the firm’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
The company’s EGM also endorsed raising the non-Qatari ownership limit to 49% of capital, together with treating GCC nationals as Qatari citizens.
During the full-year 2018, the Qatari firm’s profits fell 53.1% to QAR 4.38 million, against QAR 9.33 million in the prior year.
By 10:11 am, Qatar Oman Investment’s stock fell 5.98% to QAR 5.50.
