Rowad Misr incurs 14% higher losses in Q1

Cairo – Mubasher: Rowad Misr Tourism Investment posted an increase of 14% in consolidated net losses after tax, including minority interest, to EGP 17.77 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021 from EGP 15.53 million in Q1-20.

Revenues decreased to EGP 1.84 million at the end of March 2021, compared to EGP 8.66 million in the same period last year, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

As for the standalone financials, Rowad Misr suffered a loss of EGP 7.73 million in Q1-21, lower than EGP 10.29 million in Q1-20.

Loss per share stood at EGP 5.16 in Q1-21, compared to EGP 6.86 in Q1-20.

In the full year of 2020, the company posted a loss of EGP 56.45 million, higher than EGP 1.76 million in 2019, including minority interest.
