Cairo – Mubasher: Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing on Sunday posted a 62.3% year-on-year decline in profits for the first nine months of 2018.
Net profit reached EGP 2.06 million in the January and September period of this year, versus EGP 5.47 million in the same period last year, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Revenues surged to EGP 126.64 million at the end of September, versus EGP 110.67 million in the year-ago period.
Rubex recorded a net profit of EGP 1.52 million in the first half of 2018, compared to EGP 4.72 million in H1-17.
Meanwhile, revenues stood at EGP 82.28 million at the end of June, versus EGP 69.69 million in the same six-month period of 2017.
