Mubasher: Securities and Investment Company's (SICO) profits surged 486% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Profits reached BHD 2.93 million ($7.6 million) in Q3-16, compared to BHD 500,000 million ($1.3 million) in the same quarter last year, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
On the twelve-month level, the company's profits fell 18% to BHD 2.3 million from BHD 2.8 million in 2015.
The company achieved losses of BHD 63,000 in the first nine months of 2016, against profits of BHD 2.3 million in the year-ago period.
